Custom Tattoos Designed Around Your Ideas
Your tattoo should reflect what you want to express. It might represent an important memory, a personal milestone, a favorite subject, or simply an artistic style you appreciate. At Tattoo Saloon, the design process starts with understanding your idea and exploring how it can work as a tattoo.
You can bring reference photos, sketches, or examples of artwork that inspire you. If you do not have a finished design, you can still explain the subject, details, and overall look you have in mind. Kenny works with you to develop original artwork that considers your preferences, the size of the tattoo, and your chosen placement.
From simple concepts to more detailed compositions, the goal is to create a design that feels personal to you.
Explore Different Tattoo Styles in Evansville
Choosing a tattoo style can help you communicate the look you want. Tattoo Saloon offers custom artwork across several styles, allowing you to explore different approaches before deciding on a design.
Realism and Black-and-Gray Tattoos
Realism focuses on creating detailed artwork inspired by recognizable subjects, such as portraits, animals, and meaningful objects. Black-and-gray tattoos use variations in shading and contrast to create depth and definition without relying on color.
Black-and-gray realism combines these approaches to create detailed compositions with tonal contrast and carefully developed shading.
Other Services We Provide
Traditional and Neo-Traditional Tattoos
Traditional tattoos are known for bold outlines, recognizable imagery, and strong visual shapes. Neo-traditional artwork builds on traditional influences with its own approach to detail, color, and composition.
These styles can be worth exploring if you prefer designs with a distinctive appearance and clearly defined elements.
Fine-Line Tattoos
Fine-line tattoos use delicate lines and a more understated visual approach. Depending on the design, they may be suitable for lettering, small illustrations, symbols, or other detailed concepts.
The right size and placement depend on the artwork you choose. Discussing these details before your appointment helps establish realistic expectations for your design.

😂 I couldn’t decided where it looked best and he rearranged it a couple times for me- in my book that’s patience and understanding to make the customer feel good about a permanent thing. Never once showed frustration in my indecisiveness lol. Made me feel like my time and his attention to my time was important. I like that cause your not only paying for the ink and there expertise, you’re paying for the whole package experience and that’s what I got! Highly recommended! Will be returning!
